Maybe try some of the more modern films? It was like that in the 80s, but the trend has moved from that to more gritty subject matters nowadays (and as you would expect, film quality has improved).
I don't think cast has much to do with it tbh. But each to his own.
Try "Bodyguards and Assasins" which is fairly recent.

Since most of the DLers have the facebook DL page then shouldn't we send emails and updates with links to the threads? Maybe then they click on the link and it can be updated on this site. Maybe integrate facebook with DL so that threads can be posted up to DL group on facebook news feed and both be updated on facebook and on here.
Is that possible?

I don't think people can get away from FB tbh. I don't see the appeal, but it's gone so far so good.
